Diversion coordinator
The county instructs residents to call within 10 days of service. Eligibility and proposals matter, and our form does not satisfy that step or create a stay.
Legal help
LASP provides legal help for eligible residents.
Sheriff sale policies
Mortgage/judgment and tax/judicial sales follow different procedures. Listings are published but can change; do not rely on third-party copies.
PHFA statewide help
PHFA's foreclosure/HEMAP line is 1-800-342-2397. HEMAP is a repayable loan with eligibility rules, and a late application does not stop a foreclosure.
Where WorkWithBar fits
We are private, not a counselor, court program or law firm. A property review is optional and separate from these resources, and our form does not pause any proceeding.
If a sale is already listed
Check the Sheriff's official listings and call the office to confirm status, because listings can change. Then call LASP or a lawyer the same day.
Before you call
Keep the papers you were served with nearby, along with your loan statements and income records. Tell the coordinator the date you were served. If you are also behind on property taxes, mention it, because that may involve a different office and process.
Records and municipalities
Bucks County lists boroughs and townships separately. Confirm your municipality before relying on local requirements.
