What is a PAMM account?
PAMM commonly stands for Percentage Allocation Management Module. It is an arrangement in which a manager makes trading decisions and results are allocated among participating accounts or interests under the provider’s rules. Participants can lose money. Allocation methods, fees, legal ownership, withdrawal rights and protections vary, so the actual agreement matters.
Questions
Can a PAMM account lose money?
Yes. A manager’s decisions and market conditions can produce losses, potentially including all allocated capital. Check whether obligations can exceed the allocation under the agreement.
Are returns guaranteed?
No. Historical results and examples do not establish future returns.
Can I withdraw whenever I want?
That depends on the provider and strategy terms, dealing windows, open positions, fees and account status. Get the rules in writing.
Does Bar manage this account?
